Hi,
I’m José López, i have
19 years old and I’m studying sociology at Universidad de Chile.
On one hand, I think
that I really don’t have a very good level of English, in part because in my
school the English weren’t too important, and also because in my family nobody
speaks very fluently. In my opinion, one of my weaknesses is speaking in
public, maybe talking or having a conversation it isn´t so difficult for me if I’m
relaxed, but when you have to talk in front of more people I get nervous and I immediately
forgot all my English knowledge.
On the other hand, I think
that reading to me it is easier than other things in English, while I’m not and
expert, I can read without big problems novels and academic papers for my career.
My expectations for
this class, are in first place to continue improving my English writing and
also to learn more words and expressions to amplify my vocabulary, so then I can
speak more fluently.
